We were delighted to take part in the Global Day of Prayer for the first time this year. Having discovered at a late date we only participated for day itself with :

A prayer chain from midnight of the 10th May to midnight of 11th May
A special service from 10am to Midday
An intercessory group praying at key points of our town from 13h30 to 18h00
An evening prayer vigil from 20h00 to midnight.

We only had one visitor from another church participate with us but hope that this will develop in the future.

We have also discovered that other churches around France took part without being aware of the possibility of "signing up" on the web site.
