We had the main Portugal GDOP yesterday in a park in Queluz. It was part of an exposition of Christian welfare and other organizations and churches. At its highest, probably 1500 people were united and we could pray for different aspects of Portuguese society.
Evangelicals make up less than 2% of the society. In the same week more than 500 thousand Portuguese will actively participate in processions praying to mother Mary who allegedly appeared near the town of Fátima on 13 May 1917. They show a lot more devotion than the Evangelicals, many groups walking for 300 km to Fátima in pilgrimages. We have a long way to go for Christ to be the centre of our devotion...
May the Lord bless you all and hear our prayers for revival in Portugal.
