In 2006 a small group completed reading the whole Bible in two months and five days. It was a glorious time they experienced a great recognition and enlightenment concerning the knowledge of God and His will. This year hundreds of thousands of people from all over the world will participate in reading together from 1st October until 31st December 2008.   In 2007 a few thousand people participated, from different countries of the world, in completing reading the whole Bible, in the period from October 15th to 15th January 2008. Therefore, we used the word Marathon because we have decided that we are in a long race whose length is the entire Bible, may the Lord help all of us to complete the race and to increase in the knowledge of God's word which He sent to us.
