10 Days of Night and Day Prayer: 1 May – 10 May 2008

Are you tired of hearing of teenagers trapped in the clutches of the enemy through drug abuse, alcoholism, sexual immorality, or another teenage suicide! Stop sulking about the darkness surrounding this generation, get up, grab some friends and let your voices be heard, come and take up your place before God’s throne and pray something – anything! Looking for a place?

Why don’t you start a modern day prayer room? This is a place for creative expressions of personal prayer, intercession and worship. If your vision is to see a generation arise who exercise a lifestyle of Christ centered prayer than this is a perfect place to start their education. Now that we got you excited and anxious to start, your next question will be where and how…?

The where: anywhere you could possibly think of. In a classroom, an old club house, a room in your church building, a house , a garage, etc. We really do mean anywhere! It could run for a week-end, a week , a month and longer if you so desire. It also has the potential to develop into a Boiler Room – check out the 90 Days of Blessings insert. The how: we’ve attached a document giving advice on how to set it up.

Please note that a Prayer Room is different than a Boiler Room.

The idea is to challenge students to go into their schools, campuses, communities and kneel down for 30 seconds praying through the specific focuses in full view of their peers - this is not an easy challenge. Your responsibility is to equip them for the task and teach them to live Christ-like lives.
